Sweet cocoa and clove spice from fresh.
The presentation of this cigar is exceptional. Smooth dark wrapper with a firm even pack, possibly box pressed? The triple band of black and gold are a very nice touch also.
Once cut, the cold draw had great resistance and tastes simply of hay.
Right from the start smoke output is perfection, small draws provide loads of smoke with pepper being the leading flavour. The pepper fades away quickly to a very smooth taste of sweet spice and a slight organic taste (no pun intended).
This is a well made cigar with a razor sharp burn, abundant full flavoured creamy nearly chewable smoke which peaks around medium for strength.
As I approach the second third earthiness is dominant with a tinge of espresso and sweet pepper spice for the finish. These flavours continue into the final third but slowly culminate into a sweet and sour mash.
This, in my opinion, is how a cigar should be, complex ever changing complimenting flavours that remain smooth with a hint of sweetness. An exceptional cigar that you will not regret experiencing!
