I’m still amazed by the endless amount of cigar brands and this is another beautiful example.
The cold draw offered pleasant notes of caramel and barnyard. This cigar was beautifully box-pressed, almost perfectly square in shape.
During the initial draws, I was greeted with a delightful sweetness resembling caramel, accompanied by a great resistance and ample smoke production.
Interestingly, my previous cigar introduced me to the concept of a ‘puro,’ and coincidentally, this one happened to be a puro as well. Not only was it sourced from the same country and city, but it also originated from a single farm.
Throughout the smoking experience, the flavors remained consistent, which, in this case, was a positive attribute. I detected hints of caramel, nuts, wood, and a mild touch of white pepper. Occasionally, there was a slight mustiness, but it was complemented by an underlying sweetness.
Although the smoke output was satisfactory, it required some effort to stay alight, possibly due to a slightly tight roll. Nonetheless a very enjoyable smoke.
