Just the look of this slightly box pressed cigar gets me excited!
First impressions are impressive. A great looking cigar with a scent of aged tobacco and a little barnyard. Cutting the cap exposes a dark streak running down the middle all the way to the foot.
Lighting up finds the familiar scent of dry hay and cedar. The taste within the first third are not overly defined but are incredibly smooth. No highs or lows, just nice and balanced.
This flavour of rich tobacco is simply amazing! Strong but smooth. I found a little white pepper shows, but the finish is the shortest I have ever experienced. The flavours don’t linger, they just stop.
Wood, hay and a little saltiness starts to show. Blink and you’ll miss the transition as they are flawlessly subtle.
This is nowhere near the most flavoursome or diverse cigar I’ve smoked, but I think this is one of the main reasons it’s so damn good! It just works; these traditional flavours compliment each other perfectly and seamlessly. I can see now what all the fuss was about back in 2017.
This may be one of the best cigars I’ve ever smoked! Strength doesn’t hit much above medium with flavours which are full, but not over stated. The smoke output and draw is also simply perfect. I’m lost for words, this is a must try cigar! Thank you Privada for this truly amazing experience!
