Very impressed with the presentation of this cigar, nice dark chocolatey coloured wrapper with a great looking gold band. Have I mentioned I’m a sucker for a quality band 🙂
Great oily feel with a very firm pack. Was a little concerned it was too firm and would inhibit the draw and /or crack when I open it up with the punch. I was wrong. The punch worked perfectly, not a single crack or imperfection. The quality of this cigar is apparent.
Ten minutes in I noticed that the burn is not close to perfect, it is actually the
definition of perfect. The draw also had great resistance generating a good amount of smoke.
Flavours started as mild tobacco with a hint of sweetness. The first third was considerably stronger in taste and flavour than advertised which was welcomed.
The second third saw the flavours change to a mild taste of leather with a hint of spice that still ended with a sweetness.
Flavours were definable, strong but not overbearing and incredibly smooth.
