Is there such a thing as too much cedar?
First impression is an unmistakable taste of Weetbix and honey for the cold draw.
Now you wouldn’t expect to be surprised by the taste of cedar, but this cigar seems to be infused with its flavour and it’s all dominating! A sweet finish accompanies each draw followed with an incredibly smooth and ample smoke output for such light resistance.
From the second third the flavours mellowed and became a little musty, sweet wood is still the theme here with flavour and strength hovering just above medium.
Honestly I was expecting more from this cigar, presentation construction and burn were on point but the cedar flavour was all consuming and unfortunately overbearing.
