The first few draws had such a great taste of cedar, medium flavour for the first third with a nice draw. I was a little concerned using the punch for a cigar of this ring gauge but it worked perfectly.
I am a big fan of the maduro wrapper, this wrapper is probably the most veiny I have seen but fortunately doesn’t compromise the burn.
This is considered a budget cigar because of its mix of long and short fillers but I am impressed with the flavours. Mainly an earthy taste predominately cedar with hints of coffee.
This cigar needs to be smoked slowly, overheating just slightly bought out a bitter taste that wasn’t pleasant.
