Introducing Partagas’ debut Nicaraguan creation, boasting a Connecticut shade wrapper—a first for the brand. And if this cigar is any indication, it won’t be the last one I try!

Upon lighting, its smoothness immediately shines through, with initial notes of charred wood and black pepper.
The smoke production is ample and creamy, surprising for its smaller Corona size of 5 1/2 x 42.
Having sampled the original Cuban version four years ago, I find the similarity in size quite notable. However, the Connecticut shade wrapper adds a new dimension, enhancing its smoothness while preserving its Cuban essence.
What impressed me most was its remarkable smoothness. While not overly complex, it provides a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It leans towards the milder end in strength but delivers medium flavour, making it a solid recommendation.
