I am trying the Toro today and am surprised by the size of this cigar. Not really a fan of the simplified band at the end but the quality overshone this little detail.
Initially, Very spicy, Very intense and quite intimidating!
Thankfully after the first third the cigar slightly mellowed. The spice moved into the background and a nice woody flavour developed followed with a slight sweetness.
The burn was flawless, 40 minutes in and the ash is still holding nicely.
As I came into the final third the spice came back and was very intense but not overbearing.
Overall this cigar was full strength & flavour right from the beginning with a long finish. Definitely a cigar for the seasoned smoker.
