Heat right from the start — chilli spice immediately coating the tongue. This cigar comes in swinging and never bothers asking permission.
Don’t know what happened to the photo, so here is one I borrowed.

Zesty as hell. At first it’s hard to pin down exactly what’s happening because it just assaults the senses in every direction.
Around the second third the chilli bomb finally eases off and allows some deeper, more savoury notes to emerge. I’m getting old-school Christmas pudding, loaded with sultanas, alongside faint leather, wood, and a touch of charred oak.
This cigar has all the good looks and excellent smoking characteristics of the Montenegro Batista, but feels like its unhinged uncle — less refined, more aggressive, and completely unconcerned whether you enjoy the ride or not. Strangely, that’s exactly why I think I like it more.
Overall, this isn’t a bad cigar at all. It packs a serious punch and, while not hugely complex, it’s still something to behold. Full flavour, medium-to-full strength.
