I’ve smoked a number of cigars with cedar sheaths before, but not one where the band is wrapped around the sheath alone.
Another first for me is this cap, It’s completely flat! I’ve never seen that before but it’s great for the perfect punch.
Sweet cocoa and hay for the fresh draw which is incredibly tight, pack is even but a little on the firm side.
The first two-thirds of this cigar had a pleasant taste of sweet tobacco, nearly to the point of being infused, a little heat followed for the short finish. From start to end the draw remained tight, maybe too tight hence hindering any additional flavours to come forward.
Final third is nothing but an intense pepper bomb that is just too much for my liking, overall not bad but nothing special.
