Test blend 4

I thought I would add a test blend to my Privada subscription. I like trying new things and and a chance to give some input. All this for $5 you really can’t go wrong with that!

The cello on this cigar is yellowing nicely so it must be ready to go! A little bit of a musty barnyard scent when opened also.

Cutting the cap found me a decent stick inside this cigar, luckily my cutter went straight through so I’m pretty much going to ignore it.

First third found me flavours of Burnt wood and aniseed. There is also a little barnyard and a mild tobacco taste found on the finish.

Continuing on I found a faint floral/vegetal taste with the tobacco taste increasing overall.

Usually as a cigar progresses the smoke output and draw becomes more open and plentiful but not this time, it starts to restrict.

Draw 5/10

Burn 8/10

Complexity 4/10

Dynamic rang 4/10 (Barely any transition)

Smoke texture 2/5 (Too wispy)

Wrapper Quality 5/5 (Just perfect)

Overall enjoyability 20/50

= 48/100

I probably enjoyed critiquing this cigar more than smoking it, but damn it was $5 so who cares!
