Joya De Nicaragua Antaño Connecticut

I’ve been consistently impressed by Joya’s Antano range, so trying the CT was an exciting prospect for me.

This particular cigar boasts an incredibly smooth Connecticut wrapper. As always, Joya’s presentation is impeccable, featuring classic gold and red bands adorned with their crest.

Upon first inspection, the aroma from this cigar is a delightful blend of sweet hay and wood.

Surprisingly, the initial draws are loaded with spice, which is unexpected for a Connecticut-shade. This stick is a flavour bomb right from the start.

As expected, the bold spice gradually gives way to mild, sweet wood notes and a touch of white pepper. The draw and burn are both exceptional.

I’ve been a long time fan of the Antano range, with the dark Corojo being one of my all-time favourites.

This smoke is undeniably enjoyable, offering a smooth and creamy experience with a subtle hint of sweetness followed by a pleasant kick of white pepper. While it may not be the most diverse in flavour, it excels in delivering a very enjoyable smoke!
