Kafie grey wolf

Featuring a smooth dark maduro wrapper with a pigtail on one end and a semi-closed foot on the other, this cigar certainly knows how to make an entrance.

I must admit, the first 20 minutes or so were quite dreadful. The draw was frustratingly tight and ended up getting plugged. I made numerous attempts to revive it, but it wasn’t until I aggressively poked at it that it finally came back to life.

Once the cigar was back in action and after a good purge, I began to experience a delightful combination of dark and milk chocolate flavours. The smoke remained cool and smooth throughout, impressing me with its smoothness, particularly for a maduro blend. However, I can’t overlook the negative impression left by the first half of the cigar.

This cigar had the potential to be incredible, but unfortunately, burn issues hampered the overall experience. Alongside the chocolate notes, I also detected hints of leather and a subtle sweetness.

Despite the initial frustration, the last third of the cigar managed to redeem itself. The draw improved significantly, providing ample smoke with each draw. The final portion of the cigar was incredibly smooth, right up until the very end. If the entire cigar had a draw as good as this, it could have easily ranked among the best I’ve ever smoked. Sadly, that wasn’t the case.
