Unbanded royal

This has been the best cigar in my humidor for a while now, let’s not let it go to waste!

This particular cigar has been aged for an impressive six years, showcasing the careful craftsmanship that went into its creation. The tobacco itself was aged previously for 7 years before being expertly rolled, making this a truly exceptional and mature cigar.

After patiently waiting for the perfect moment, I decided to finally indulge in this luxury cigar. With a price tag of $80 USD, it definitely falls into the higher-end category, promising a special experience. This was my time to relax and enjoy the calm before the storm, within one week from now I will be a father for the first time and I don’t know if I will ever be able to relax again 🙂

From the very first draw, the flavours of aged tobacco and cedar make their presence known. The smoke is thick and coats the palate generously, leaving a mild and long-lasting finish.

Impressively, the ash held firm for a solid 40 minutes, a testament to the impeccable burn and construction of the cigar. The draw is just right, with the perfect amount of resistance.

I’m not supposed to reveal the identify of this cigar but it has a lot of hype behind it, I was relieved to find that it has lived up to its reputation. The blend of cedar, earth, and a distinct mushroom musk creates a mild and smooth flavour profile that is refined and enjoyable.

Towards the final third, subtle hints of minerals and salt emerge, adding an interesting dimension to the overall experience. The smoke itself is smooth with a slightly powdery texture.

The burn line remains impressively straight throughout, and this cigar consistently produces ample smoke while maintaining a satisfying draw.

The ageing and well-crafted nature of this cigar truly shines, offering a refined and delightful indulgence for any cigar enthusiast.

Undeniably amazing!
