I feel like I should be scared? There’s always a degree of truth with mythology.

This cigar has a super dark wrapper and tightly packed construction, resulting in a light draw. However, this doesn’t hinder the production of large clouds of smoke. It is a 5×50 size and belongs to a collector series inspired by Mayan mythology, produced by A.J. Fernandez.
One interesting fact I discovered is that this cigar is a Nicaraguan puro, meaning it uses the same tobacco for the wrapper, filler, and binder. In this case, it features a Habano Maduro wrapper. Knowledge is power!
Upon lighting up, I immediately detected flavours of leather and cedar. The smoke was powdery and abundant, creating a delightful experience. As I progressed, I started noticing hints of salt and white pepper. The burn, draw, and smoke output were all excellent.
As the smoke continued, it became notably smoother, with the powdery smoke transforming into a thick and creamy texture. The dominant flavours were leather, cedar, with a touch of salt and subtle hints of musty raisins.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar. The impressive burn and smoke production kept me engaged while the diverse range of flavours kept things interesting.
