I have always considered RYJ to be a traditional Cuban brand, but with an Indonesian wrapper and a Dominican binder and long filler, this blend promises an interesting experience.

Right from the start, it exudes the classic Cuban flavour profile, featuring clouds of cedar, white pepper, and other woody notes. What sets it apart from many Cuban cigars of the past is the amazing draw and generous smoke output.
This cigar offers a smooth, mild, and flavorful experience, with a subtle sweetness that lingers on the finish.
It’s worth noting that the first cigar I reviewed on this site was an RYJ, and this is now the third one I’ve had the pleasure of smoking and my 242nd cigar review.
In my experience, this is the best representation of the brand. It delivers a smooth and mild smoke with a burn that’s simply impeccable. There’s no bitterness or overwhelming flavours to be found here.
To sum it up, you can expect flavours of Weet-Bix, cedar, white pepper, and a variety of wood notes.
The “Bully” size, measuring 5 inches in length, is something I haven’t encountered before, but this cigar was that good I’m sure it will be encountered again!
