Privada Spirits: Cognac

So, as you have probably figured out, this cigar is made to pair with COGNAC. Since I don’t have any, I will have to see how it goes on its own.

This is one good-looking cigar. It’s the wrapper that gets your attention, dark with a nice oily sheen. I wish I only got a better photo to show it off.

First flavours are sour fruit and black pepper. These flavours are very strong, and, to be honest, a little overbearing. Let’s hope this smooths out asap!

Well, it heard me, and it didn’t take long to smooth out nicely, bringing with it a slightly sweet leather taste. There was also white pepper and a little cedar, all enveloped in very thick, nearly chewy smoke.

This cigar smokes perfectly. The draw and smoke output could not be better, with perfect resistance to boot.

This cigar finished with the unmistakable flavour of leather/fruit roll-ups. The smoke is thick and creamy and very enjoyable.

45 Minutes.
