Epic is a pretty bold brand name, I expect big things.
The smell from fresh is unmistakably sweet cedar. The first few draws taste just like Corn flakes with white sugar on top, and reminds me of my youth and subsequently countless dentist visits…
I had a lancero curse for such a long time, it’s relieving for this example to have a perfect draw and smoke output. I might even say they are slowly becoming one of my favourite vitolas.
This is a sweet cigar which really does appeal to me, wooded flavours and white pepper are also present.
The second third finds a little burnt wood and cloves, mainly because of a slight numbing sensation, but could easily be pepper causing this effect.
Flavours didn’t change much from here on but strength definitely got a big boost for the final third. Overall very enjoyable.
