And here it is — the Scrooge Cigar.
In true Scrooge fashion, I paired it with the cheapest whiskey Dan Murphy’s has on the shelf… fitting, right?

I’ve always found that certain vitolas carry their own signature character. Sure, each cigar is different, but sometimes the size and draw give a vitola a familiar “through-line” of flavour. Curious if you find the same — let me know your thoughts.
Flavour & Performance
Right from the start: cedar and apricots. The burn was excellent, and while the ash didn’t hold for long, it’s a small gauge, so no complaints there. I picked up a touch of white pepper and occasional vegetal note, with the cedar coming back throughout.
This lancero performed beautifully — a perfect burn and surprisingly solid construction. No corner-cutting here, even for a so-called Scrooge stick.

Overall, a genuinely impressive budget smoke.
