This is the last of the three cigars in the Privada Sushi range.

Vitola: 6 x 46
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Binder: Ecuadorian Habano
Filler: Especial
Right from the first draw, this cigar is impressively smooth. I often find the opening puffs of most cigars to be the least enjoyable, but that is not the case here at all—this one starts off refined and stays that way.
There really isn’t much better than smoking a cigar during a thunderstorm. It’s incredibly relaxing. Thankfully there’s no wind at the moment, otherwise I’d be getting absolutely soaked on my little balcony, which would definitely ruin the mood.
Flavour-wise, black pepper is front and centre—not overpowering, but very present. By the end of the first third there’s a noticeable numbing sensation on the palate. I’m also picking up some light barnyard and hay notes in the background.
Despite the pepper, the cigar remains smooth as butter. As it progresses, subtle herbal and salty notes come through, almost reminiscent of a Sunday roast.
Smoking time: ~70 minutes
Price: $18 USD
Overall, a very enjoyable cigar and a solid way to close out the Sushi range.
