01/01/24 – Let’s start this year off right with a Cohiba Red Dot Robusto.
This is one smooth cigar. I haven’t smoked cigars for about three months and am slowly getting back into it. The first cigar I smoked recently knocked me off my feet, which was to be expected, but I thought this one might be a little gentler.
The Cohiba Red Dot Robusto offers a smooth, aged tobacco flavour with a touch of sweetness. There is definitely a coffee influence here, along with a bit of spice on the finish.
The ash fell after 15 minutes, suggesting it might be a little dry, but I’m not complaining. The flavors of leather and mild spice are very smooth and mild, which I can only describe as just great.
Overall, not bad at all and a great start to the new year!
